We hold a number of events supporting our local communities.
Our current events include a Ghost Hunt at Hangleton Manor, the Wrap Up Campaign collecting coats & woollies for the homeless, a Christmas Tree Collection Service, and of course our famous Easter Egg Hunt.
Watch out for these and more!
The Big Help Out is the most recent of our community events, and took place in Hove Park. It was an amazing day with excellent feedback. Thank you to all those who contributed in whatever way.
Have a look at the photos on the dedicated event page to see what joy we brought to those who attended.
Rotary as an organisational is over 100 years old with over 1.4 members worldwide. We are proud to be part of this community. It currently has six key focus areas. All our projects and actions are inspired by and fit within these Rotary focus areas.
Our club members believe that raising money to help make a difference to our local community and international projects, should be enjoyable, and we love to create events that are different, and involve the local community.
We enjoy life and like making new friends, and have links with Rotary Clubs in The Netherlands, Germany and France and also collaborate with and support the other Rotary Clubs in Brighton and Hove, known as Rotary in Brighton & Hove.
Our members come from a variety of age groups and working backgrounds including advertising, marketing and PR, accountancy, law, retail, hospitality, charity, IT, teaching and the care sectors, just to name a few.
We are a robust and vibrant club, open and transparent, with a desire to grow further. We currently have over 40 members, with an almost equal split between men and women, some retired and some still working, but all of whom are keen to use their skills and resources to help others. We are always open to welcoming new members who want to make a real difference to people in our community.
We realise that not everyone wants to formally join our Rotary Club but would like to give service. If you would be interested in volunteering with usplease do contact us.
