1️⃣ Rotary Helped Eradicate 99.9% of Polio 🏥
Rotary International has been a driving force in the fight against polio, helping to reduce cases by 99.9% worldwide through its End Polio Now campaign. Since 1988, Rotary has contributed over $2.1 billion to the cause!
2️⃣ Rotary Was Involved in the Creation of the United Nations 🌍
Rotary played a key role in founding the UN in 1945. In fact, 49 Rotary members were involved in drafting the UN Charter, and Rotary still collaborates with the UN today on humanitarian projects.
3️⃣ There’s a Rotary Club in Antarctica 🐧
Yes, even the coldest, most remote place on Earth has a Rotary presence! The Rotary Club of Antarctica was created to unite Rotarians who have worked on the continent.
