Zone 1: Charities and Small Businesses

The Big Help out was initiated by King Charles III to promote volunteering in the UK.

The 40 or so charities present provided us with the most important part of the day: a time to see what exciting activities and volunteering opportunities we have available in the City, and the possibilities of making a difference?

Thank you to all the stallholders for joining us on the day and we hope you all got some new volunteers.

Zone 2: Food and Drink

Thank you to the food trucks that kept us going all day!

Zone 3: The Fun Dog Show

The Fun Dog Show brought such fun to proceedings and was noisy (in a good ways!) and very entertaining! Thank you to our lovely judges Mark and Annemarie, Julia who compered it, all the dog owners brave enough to enter their dogs ..... and most of all  - all the pooches!

Zone 4: Children's Activities

Although this event focuses on volunteering, the younger members of Brighton & Hove were not forgotten  - some of our Rotarians organised activities with them and there was also a bouncy castle!

Zone 5: Dance and Music

The Hangleton Band started the dance and were glorious to listen to!

The Marta Scott Dance Group gave us a wonderful dance display. Thank you to Marta and her wonderful dance group.

We ended with Jazz like That.

Hove & Adur Sea Cadets

What a marvellous group of young people these cadets are and the Big Help Out was the beginning of a great partnership for us. One of their cadets is shortly going to complete our Rotary Youth Leadership Scheme.

The cadets were amazing arising to all the challenges we set them! Thank you to them and their Commanding Officer Mat Callow.

Brighton & Hove Soiree Rotary

The Brighton & Hove Soiree Rotary organised this event for the city of Brighton and Hove, in Hove Park. Here are a selection of pictures showing the dedication and hard work put in by our Rotarians during the event. Of course there was plenty of work in the preparation too and we thank all of them for their dedication and efforts.

General Event Photos

We would have been nothing without our general public - most of the photos of the general public are in other photo categories, but here are a few general photos.
